Joe Cross made a hell of of a movie that made me pull out my vitamix quickly. Not only was this a great documentary, but it showed me that the body can be transformed with just a more natural juice mix. Now I’m not talking just going to the store and picking up some apple juice that full of artificial sweeteners. Joe brings in nothing but facts about giving your body the nutrients you need to keep your body in tip top shape. My only issue with the documentary is the fact that it promotes only juicing. Although I think it is a great addition to your diet, I don;t believe it should be your only option. Drinking a large cup of kale and carrots a day won’t hurt you at all, but it’s even better to chew on those also.
I used to be a McDonald’s fan. Who didn’t like the Big Mac 2 for $2 promotion they ran. That was a moment when I ate fast food every single day. And Every single day, I felt like crap. But I thought it was normal. I know better now. After watching the film I actually felt bad for the guy. But the biggest takeaway from this film is that fast food is without a doubt hurting us. Even if you’re not stepping foot in Mcdees, you are finding someplace to fulfill your taste buds. This is a perfect example of eating like shit and transforming your body back to perfect health. End of story, It’s never too late to get back to good health. So don’t feel guilty if you’re chowing down on a whopper as we speak.

Don’t you want the best?

But when you listen to Michael’s view on today’s western diet, you begin to say to yourself, “I always wondered that!”. Michael takes you on a journey of going back to the roots of cooking anything you want. But there’s a catch. Cook it from scratch. I challenge you!
This is the film that actually changed my life. After watching this, I was convinced that I need to be more conscience about what I ate from this point on. This movie gave me a clear insight on how we are losing the battle because the foods that taste so good is literally killing us. Giving us factual claims is enough for me to make better decisions on when I should eat rack of baby back ribs with the etrabbq sauce.
